Long before apps, before smartphones, before anyone was calling it "disc golf" — some old guys with too much time and too many dollar bills figured out the best way to settle a debate on the course. You'd slap a dollar down on the ground next to the teepad, everyone else threw theirs on top, and whoever got closest to the basket won the pot — but not before their friends made sure to kick a little dirt onto the dollars they just lost, just to make it hurt a little more. The winner picked up the dirty pile and the trash talk started all over again on the next hole.

But times change. Gas prices are out of control, everything costs more, and let's be honest — nobody carries cash anymore. That crisp dollar bill on the teepad? Gone. And with it, a little bit of the magic. The side eye when someone wins, the dramatic dirt kick, the slow walk to pick up the pot — all of it faded when wallets went digital.

So we brought it back. Same trash talk. Same bragging rights. Same dirt-kicking energy — just without needing to raid your couch cushions for singles before every round. Now the only thing you need is your phone and your crew.
